I am Jacob, a passionate photographer and cinematographer based in the United Kingdom. My love for creating visuals began when I asked for a camcorder for my ninth birthday after watching Mr Bean’s Holiday. From that moment I filmed absolutely everything I could find, from singing made up songs about creaky doors to capturing every cat and dog I met in public. It was time well spent and it planted the seed for the work I do today.

What started as childhood curiosity has grown into a commitment to creating honest and meaningful visual stories. I am drawn to the beauty of everyday life and the individuality of each person I photograph. Portraits should reveal personality, emotion and truth. I see the human face as a window into the soul and I work to capture that inner quality with respect and sensitivity.

Over the years I have worked with a wide range of companies covering events, festivals and commercial projects. My experience stretches across many areas including content for the education sector, promotional work for businesses and creative shoots for tattoo studios. Alongside my commissioned work I continue to pursue my passion for portraiture and weddings which allow me to connect with people and tell stories that feel genuine and heartfelt.

I chose to follow a creative path because film and photography allow me to express myself clearly and honestly. That choice continues to shape how I approach every project.
